If I feel like I write
Then why not write a good start
If I am feeling so wise
Why the deeds of wisdom so far!
I think that I thought as a wise
But it turned out, that I am quite naive!
It’s a time spent well
It’s a lesson that rings a bell!!
What would I do if I keep up the way?
What would I be if I couldn’t change someday?
What is it that would make me see the wise?
What will it be that will finally turn the tide?
Questions asked, never really answered,
Till came the time when doubts finally faltered..
Now I see the wisdom of not being me…
Now I see how being me turned out to be!
I can say for sure I am still no wiser than before,
But I know in my heart that another chance is for sure.
Chance to take a stock of life,
Time to put better thoughts in my mind…
No wonder I have been sad!
No surprise that I haven’t dared!
No wonder I am alone and every feeling is a scare!
Lesson learned with fingers burnt,
Leaves a mark that ages hold...
Don't make haste cause it's a big change,
But don't stand too long, else this chance is also gone!!

Well well...very well thought of composition and and above all very practical presentation of facts and the way to deal with them, I have few questions for you though -
--Do you really believe being wise helps u in taking correct decisions always??
--Don't you think that too much thinking spoils the charm of any beautiful decision??
--How much do you believe in spontaneity??
These questions have been put forward becoz I strongly believe in taking decisions in a "Blink"... :))..Cheers!!!

-- yes yes and yes...it just spoils the fun..it just kills the surprise and it unnecessarily builds expectations which kills the charm of doing anything
-- a lot but not in everything..i am an impulsive person by nature...but with time i figured u cant be impulsive abt everything...smetimes..u do need to think thru..smetimes what u do is not charming enuff to waste an impulse on..so thn u think :)
My take on 3rd one....there are typically two distinguished type of inherent human nature -- One of being impulsive and other one is of being a profound thinker. In true sence a person can inherit only one of these types, if we try to mix both...it will lead in taking ambiguous decision due to overlapping....
Its necessary that one should clearly identify with oneself and take decisions on the basis of their instincts...which can either be based on one's impulse or serious thinking...and till the time it has been taken from deep within, no doubt it will be correct!! but yeaaahh again the same thing..you cannot make it situation based.... :)
well for me impulse is not really abt doing things without thinking..its may be that at times we are able think thru quite fast :) but i don't agree to u .. u can be both .. everything abt us .. our reactions, the language, the expressions, the likings..everything is based and defined by situations...its abt seamlessly mingles profound thinkin with impulses (as they r defined in general)
Amazing composition "Lessons learned with burn fingers..."; conveys very strong and important message; Chances & haste go hand in hand- if you leave any of then the other too gets lost. So the perfect balance is needed to dance on the right chance.. Cheers!
@ Mindless Rambling: I really had to think profoundly before replying :))...By "Impulsive", even I dont mean without giving any thought, but what I wanted to convey is that...you react to situations with ur mind tuned up with ur true innerself, what actually u want instead of getting it overshadowed with various worldly what, if, why etc.... :))..so the thinking part duration here is in nanoseconds (that's the case when decisions are taken in blink :P)...and if u are truely honest with uself then u will realize that even if u thnk profoundly, u will arrive at the same desion at which u swayed being "Impulsive"..!! ;)
